Easy Cocktail Meatballs - Perfect For a Football Party


Easy Cocktail Meatballs!  A family favorite.  They are perfect for any type of social gathering.  I traditionally have them on Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.  They are a main stay in our family.  So during football season I had to post the recipe.  Super super easy.

So here is the recipe.


Easy Cocktail Meatballs

Ingredients

1 Frozen package of cocktail meatballs (Trader Joe’s)

1 jar of Heinz Chili sauce

1 jar of Grape Jelly

Instructions


Cook the meatballs according to instructions.  I then place the meatballs into a crock pot.  Add equal amounts of chili sauce and grape jelly in also (I personally like a little more chili sauce than jelly, but find what you like).  Heat until the chili sauce and grape jelly are hot.  Serve while hot.  Easy Simple Enjoy

This is an easy and simple chicken and vegetable soup in a slow cooker.  It has a teaspoon of curry in it that to my tastebuds is undetectable but adds a little something something to the soup.  I hope you enjoy this delicious soup now that we are heading in to colder weather.  I consider this a very healthy soup. Here is the recipe. Easy Chicken and Vegetable Soup Ingredients 1 - 1 1/2 pounds skinless boneless chicken thighs 4 cups low sodium chicken broth 3 medium carrots sliced 2 stalks celery sliced 1 medium onion chopped 1 teaspoon curry powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup frozen peas Instructions In a slow cooker place chicken, broth, 2 cups water, carrots, celery, onion, curry, and salt.  Stir. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.  Shred the chicken and add the peas.  Cook 10 mins longer for the peas.  Serve.  Easy!  Enjoy!! Easy Orange Cilantro Rice

This is also very easy and simple to make.  It looks and tastes wonderful. Easy Orange Cilantro Rice Ingredients 1 cup uncooked rice 2 cups water 1 Tbs orange zest 2 Tbs cilantro minced Place rice and water in a sauce pan.  Soak for 15 min.  Then bring the water and rice up to a boil.  Keep a close eye on it.  You don’t want it to over flow.  Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes covered.  Remove from heat and let stand for 10 min.  Fluff and stir in zest and cilantro.  So Good!! Enjoy!!
