Easy Macaroni and Cheese

This is one of my favorite recipes.  I know I say that about almost everything that I post, but it is true.  I have made this many many times.  Here is an important thing to remember - salt.  This tastes awful with out salt.  I made that mistake once, years ago, and my family still teases me about it. Here is the recipe. Easy Macaroni and Cheese Ingredients 8 oz uncooked macaroni 3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk 2 cups shredded medium cheddar cheese Instructions Cook macaroni per package instructions.  Drain.  In same large pot add butter, flour and salt stirring until bubbling. Easy BBQ Ribs - Perfect For a Football Party - Super Easy

This is just as easy as can be.  I got this recipe from a friend of mine.  This is again a family favorite.  When kids are busy, moms need easy recipes to cook.  It is perfect for large groups too.  Just keep increase the number of pans you cook.  Perfect for a football game.  Who doesn't love ribs? Hers's the recipe. Easy BBQ Ribs Ingredients 1 Rack of Pork Baby Back Ribs garlic powder salt and pepper 1 jar BBQ sauce Instructions Cut the ribs to fit in to a 9x13 pan.  Sprinkle garlic powder and salt and pepper on top.  Cover tight with aluminum foil.  Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.  Then pour the BBQ sauce on the finished ribs.  Easy.  Enjoy.  Hope you enjoy it!!!

Easy Chicken and Rice

This is very easy to put together and the taste is delicious.  So if you want to try something easy and simple this is for you. Here is the recipe. Easy Chicken and Rice Ingredients 4 half chicken breasts 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 package dry onion soup 1 cup water 3/4 cup uncooked rice Instructions Combine mushroom soup, half of dry onion soup, water, and rice.  Place in a greased baking dish.  Place the chicken breasts on top.  Sprinkle the rest of the dry onion soup mix on top of the chicken and the rice.  Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Easy. Enjoy.

Easy Spaghetti and Meat Sauce - Super Easy

This is truly easy.  And of course, a family favorite. Easy Spaghetti and Meat Sauce Ingredients 1 pound ground meat either hamburger or ground turkey (I use turkey) 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu’s Traditional Meat Sauce) 23.9 oz 1 pound of dry spaghetti noodles Instructions Cook the noodles according to the package.  In a sauce pan brown the meat and then drain off the excess fat.  Add the sauce to meat and bring to a boil reduce heat to simmer.  That’s all there is to it.  Easy. Enjoy. Super Easy!!!  Family Favorite!!!

Easy Salisbury Steak

I like easy recipes.  This one is originally from a very old cookbook with some adaptation.  It was I believe from Pillsbury Kitchens' Family Cookbook. Here are the ingredients Here's the recipe Easy Salisbury Steak Ingredients 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz) 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1 onion chopped 1 egg beaten dash worcestershire sauce dash hot sauce 1/3 cup water Instructions Combine only a 1/4 of the soup with the beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.  Mix well.  Make 6 patties.  In a 13x9 baking dish arrange patties.  Bake uncovered for 35 min.  Oven at  350 degrees.  Skim off fat.  Mix the rest of the soup with water and pour over patties.  Cook for 10 more min.  Easy.  Enjoy.

Easy Chicken in Wine Sauce - Enjoy

This is one of the easiest recipes ever.  Nothing to it.  Anyone can make this and feel like a chef.  College students or young adults.  Try it, it is wonderful. Here is a photo of the ingredients: I like to chop the chicken up to smaller pieces too. And here is the finished product. A little bit of heaven.  Yum. Now here is the recipe - I hope you love it as much as our family!! Easy Chicken in Wine Sauce Ingredients 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken (I prefer thighs) 2 Tablespoons Butter 1 onion chopped 3 carrots chopped 1/2 cup frozen peas 1/4 cup wine (I prefer white wine) 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup Instructions In large skillet melt butter.  Saute onion and chicken.  Add carrots, peas, wine and cream of mushroom soup.  Simmer covered 35 minutes.  Serve with rice.  Easy.  Enjoy!! Ridiculously Easy Chicken - Soy Sauce and Sugar - Ridiculously Great

Just had this at my brother-in-laws house and stole the recipe.  It is fantastic.  I can not say it is a family favorite.  But it clearly will be when the rest of the family tries it.  Right now, just my husband  and I love it in our family.  That will change, as soon as the others try it.  Here is the recipe.  Enjoy! Ridiculously Easy Chicken - Soy Sauce and Sugar Ingredients 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup sugar dash of worcestershire dash of hot sauce 6 Chicken thighs boneless - skinless Instructions In a 9 x 13 baking dish add the soy sauce, sugar, worcestershire, and hot sauce.  Stir several times for about ten minutes.  The sugar will not completely dissolve - no problem.  Add chicken flip over a couple of times to coat both sides of the chicken.  Bake uncovered at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes.  Remove from oven and while the chicken is cooling flip it a few more times in the sauce. ...

Easy Chicken Curry

I love chicken curry.  This is again a family favorite.  Super simple to do.  Any one can do it. Here is the recipe.  I prefer it served over rice, but over pasta is good too.  Tonight we had it over baked potatoes. Easy Chicken Curry This is another one of my easy recipes.  I got this recipe from a friend of mine about 20 years ago it was a family favorite of theirs too. Ingredients: 1  whole onion chopped 1  tablespoon olive oil 1  package chicken tenders or chicken breast (about a pound or pound and a  half) 2  cups chicken broth 2  tablespoons tomato paste 1  tablespoon curry 1  peeled and chopped apple 1/2  banana chopped 1/2  teaspoon salt Instruction: Saute onion and chicken in the olive oil.  Then add chicken broth, tomato paste, apple,  banana, salt and curry.  Bring to boil and reduce to simmer covered one hour....

Easy Chili - Perfect For A Football Party!!

I think I only make easy recipes and it is true.  This recipe just might be the easiest one I make.  Simple Simple!!  Here is a photo of the ingredients. Now, here is the secret - follow the instructions on the Lawry's Chili Seasonings.  It is really just that simple. I have written them out.  Here it is: Easy Chili This recipe is just following the instructions on the back of the Lawry’s seasonings.  Simple, simple.  Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey, browned and drained 1 can black beans - do not drain - empty entire can in 1 can diced tomatoes - do not drain - empty entire can in 1 package lawry’s seasonings 1 cup water Instructions: Brown turkey and drain.  Add beans, tomatoes, seasonings, and water.  Bring to a low boil.  Turn down the temp to a simmer. EASY MINESTRONE SOUP

This is very delicious with a complex blend of flavors.  My family has been enjoying this for years.  There is some chopping and measuring involved but the flavor is more than worth it.  When I had the opportunity to go to Italy I ordered a lot of minestrone soup.  Of course, minestrone soup is always better in Italy, but this is close. Here is the recipe: EASY MINESTRONE SOUP A family favorite. There are a number of ingredients but still easy. Ingredients: 1 can drained cannellini beans  2 tablespoons olive oil 1 yellow onion, chopped 1 clove garlic chopped 6 cups low sodium meat stock 1 can diced tomatoes with juice 3 large carrots sliced 2 zucchini chopped 1/4 head of cabbage chopped 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup dried small elbow macaroni 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar Heat oil in large pot.  Add ...

Easy Split Pea Soup - Slow Cooker

I love split pea soup.  It is so easy to make.  Here is what is needed to start with: I forgot to add the salt to the photo, sorry. The recipe I follow is one I have had for years. EASY SPLIT PEA SOUP - SLOW COOKER I have been making this soup for years.  The family loves it. Ingredients: 1 package of dry green split peas (rinse til water is clear) 1 package Turkey Polska Kielbasa (I use Hillshire Farms) sliced 2 carrots peeled and sliced 1 whole yellow onion chopped 1 green bell pepper seeded and chopped 4 cloves garlic minced  1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil 42 ounces low sodium chicken broth  Everything in to the crock pot and stir.  Cook on high for 6 hours.  That’s it.
